About Štefan
I am an MA student of Classics at the Humboldt-University of Berlin with a BA from Cambridge. I have passion for Latin and Greek and I love to teach.
Coming from Slovakia, I had to learn all my languages from scratch: English, German, Latin and Ancient Greek. Therefore, I am well acquainted with the needs of language learners and I can identify the next key steps on their path, wherever they may be in the process of learning a language.
I also had the opportunity to work as a language teacher and tutor in between my studies and gained experience of adapting to the individual learning needs of my students.

Motivation and determination are the key elements of success when learning difficult languages. I take my students on a journey of discovery and I hope I can infect them with my passion for ancient languages on the way. I find that passion sustains the determination necessary for practice the best.
Therefore, I like my students to be active participants in the lesson. I work with their initial understanding of the subject and guide them towards a clear vision of how the key grammar concepts work in a language.
Practice is the most important aspect of learning a language – so I make sure they get a lot of varied and stimulating opportunities to practice what they have learned in a comprehensive manner.
