About Tanisha

I’m Tanisha and I have just successfully completed my GCSEs but my favourite subjects have always been English and Drama (I’m about to study them for A Levels)!

I’ve been performing for almost a decade so am experienced in working through characters in plays or novels that are studied in English. The endless possibilities within English have always been an inspiring escapism for me as words have a profound power to teleport you to distant lands from the walls of your bedroom! Therefore, I would love to transfer this passion onto others so that they too may enjoy the beauty of english! I believe that every child has the potential for a successful future in a career they love, so if I can give them an extra push to achieve this, it would arouse the most rewarding feeling. As well, I love to make others smile and be happy with my cheerful disposition!

About the lesson

Hello! If your child is a creative thinker who needs a push to achieve their brilliant potential, look no further! I am so keen to tutor children from KS1 all the way up to GCSE in English Language and Literature!

Methods:

- covering basics & complex details to secure a firm understanding
- creative teaching (using anagrams, rhymes or role plays)
- spaced recall & memory games to help retain quotes
- strategies & essay structures covering all aspects of the exam specification
- tips on on exam nerves & exam well-being
- developing a love and enjoyment for english!

Achieved Grade 9s in all 11 GCSE subjects taken from Beaconsfield High School

Volunteer helping Dementia patients and their carers

Drama, Piano and Singing Qualifications
