About Ashley
I started official piano lessons around 10 years ago, though I started playing before that. I received a distinction at grade 8. I took Pre-U music and was awarded a D2 which is equivalent to an A* in A levels. I enjoy analysing music and discussing the details that make up a piece.

There are different aspects to the music GCSE course, though I prefer to focus on the composition and listening side. I can give compositional advice to the student (although of course I cannot write it for them). For the listening side, I like to go through the piece of music in detail, drawing attention to the different techniques used. I will also go through practice listening papers.
