Hey, I'm Angus! I graduated from Cranbrook School in the Eastern Suburbs in 2020 with an ATAR of 98.60.
My marks were:

I am a friendly and easy-going guy, who is able to successfully communicate with anyone and will truly care about the students' academic performance and journey to improve their marks. This can be reflected in my leadership roles as a House Captain, Prefect, and Peer Support leader.

My teaching style is holistic, shifting to the needs of each individual student upon careful consideration of what they are struggling with. This is all underpinned with an in-depth focus on the syllabus dot points and required learning outcomes. With humanities always being my strongest subjects, reflected in my current studies of a Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics / Commerce (Finance Major), I can succinctly communicate to students how they can improve - especially with essay writing, source analysis, as well as short answer techniques to stand out to HSC markers. Because I graduated just last year, I also have extensive knowledge of the new HSC syllabus - in particular for Modern History and English Advanced.
I am able to mark essays & past papers, as I have had hundreds of hours personally going through past papers with teachers and mentors - who are HSC senior markers - so I know exactly what teachers are looking for. I have a range of sources full of extra stats, analysis, graphs, and marked responses to help model a student's essay. I can further assist in creating essay plans to help kickstart and assess the core ideas of the topic. I can also teach exam performance skills, and in-test time management - as well as many other practical methods to get the best results possible.
