About Francesca
I am a current MA student at the Liverpool John Moores University, studying Musical Theatre. I have a BA in Drama from the University of East Anglia. I have been tutoring students through English Literature courses since I was taking it during my own IB experience. I achieved a 6 at Higher Level IB English Literature, and went on to do a year of English Lit at UEA before I changed course to pursue Drama.

I am a firm believer in practical learning, but I do my best to tailor my teaching techniques to each individual student. Each lesson will follow a similar pattern of discussing a writing extract (be it poem, prose, or script), finding the analytical points, and then asking the student to write an essay outline for a hypothetical essay about that piece of writing. I am an easy-going person, I encourage students to ask as many questions as they wish, and am more than happy to repeat exercises or to change them entirely if that is what the student needs.
