About Joanna
I am a junior high student with 2 years of tutoring experience, having taught roughly 10 students. Thanks to my help my students have gone from failing their classes to achieving grades that exceed expectations, putting them in average classes, if not advanced. I have extensive experience in mathematics and like subjects having been in advanced classes since I was little.

I have yet to obtain my highschool degree, however I am on track to graduate not only with my GED but also with my associates degree. I only use positive reinforcement with my students, anything else is rude and sometimes harmful to not only their self-esteem but also their growth. I understand how difficult it can be to learn arithmetic in the standard way. In order to make the process easier I enjoy teaching shortcuts and alternative ways of learning.
