I enjoy helping middle and high school students improve their writing skills and discover how they can use essays to convey their strengths, whether they are writing for a class assignment, college admittance essay, or standardized test.
I am currently in the final year of my honors B.A. in which I study Philosophy and Literature with a minor in Logic and Computation. In high school, I received perfect scores for the reading and writing sections of the ACT and SAT and am familiar with the exam structure and grading components. My university studies have further strengthened my test-taking skills and I enjoy teaching my students logical hacks to improve their results.
I have helped students write college admissions essays which have earned them places at schools such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia and MIT and am happy to provide references upon request. I love the entire process of essay writing: brainstorming experiences to highlight, creating a narrative structure, and refining word choices for maximum effect.
I am based in the Netherlands but am happy to tutor students anywhere in the world via Zoom.
