I’m a university student who’s made it far despite struggling a lot in school over the years. In my experience, I was able to grow and learn when I felt listened to and believed in, and I would love to now take that and give that support to those younger than me to guide them into the best potential they can have.

I believe that everyone has their own personal style of learning, each with its own strengths and weaknesses and nuances. A teacher’s task is not only to deliver the content with expertise, but also to tune into the students’ needs to make them feel heard and supported to voice anything they’re struggling with. I carry this onto my teaching to nurture a dynamic of communication and attention to foster an environment of healthy learning.
