About Annabelle
Hi! I’m currently a second-year student speech and language therapist, and I’m passionate about helping others communicate confidently. I’ve always loved English—whether it’s exploring language through linguistics or supporting communication. Tutoring gives me the chance to share that passion and make a real difference in learners’ lives. I enjoy working with children from early years through to early secondary, especially those who might find communication or literacy challenging. My approach is quietly calm and patient, creating a comfortable space where students feel supported and motivated to grow. I believe everyone deserves the chance to express themselves clearly and confidently, and that’s what drives me to teach. Helping students build skills, overcome barriers, and gain confidence is incredibly rewarding not only for me but for them. I’m committed to providing thoughtful, personalised tutoring that meets each student’s unique needs. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you on your learning journey!

I'm a second-year student speech and language therapist with experience supporting learners from early years through to early secondary. I bring a quietly calm, patient approach to tutoring, helping students feel relaxed and confident. I tutor all areas of English, including reading, writing, literacy, and verbal communication, using my background in linguistics and communication development to tailor sessions to each student’s needs. My lessons typically last 45 minutes to an hour, and are interactive, supportive, and paced to suit the learner. I focus on building understanding step by step, using clear explanations and encouraging independent thinking. Whether your child needs help catching up, building confidence, or strengthening core skills, I aim to create a positive and effective learning experience for learners from early years up to early secondary.
