About Penelope
I'm a young woman who has a passion for teaching. I'm 23 years old and I've been passionate about teaching since high school. I love working with different people from different backgrounds and cultures. I used to tutor students during my high school years and that's when I fell in love with teaching. I have gained teaching experience through offering tutoring to fellow students in high school. I also gain experience when I'm doing my teaching practical since I'm a student studying towards my Bachelor of Education majoring in History and Geography through the University of South Africa (UNISA).

I would describe it as highly adaptable. I do not really prefer one teaching method, or one way of interacting with the students in the classroom environment. Because in my opinion, each class is different, so is each lesson, and a good teacher should always adjust their teaching to their audience, the level of discipline in the class, the difficulty of the lesson, and so on. I simply prefer individual approach to teaching, and I alternate between being an authority, demonstrator, facilitator, and delegator. The language which I'm proficient and able to teach in is English. Students can expect a very informative lesson with me where they can as questions and gain more knowledge. My lessons are aimed at students who want to learn and students who want to improve their English
