Meet Your Teacher!
Good morning/afternoon, everyone!
My name is Miss Nkuna, and I am absolutely thrilled to be joining your classroom as your student teacher!
Because I am a student teacher, it means that just like you, I am also studying and learning every single day. I am finishing up my university degree to become a full-time qualified teacher, and I am so lucky that I get to do my practical learning right here with all of you.
Why I Am Excited to Teach You
People often ask me why I chose this path, and the answer is simple: I love learning, and I believe in every single one of you. Here are the main reasons why I want to be a teacher:
To Make Learning an Adventure: I don't believe school should ever be boring. I want to bring exciting, fresh ideas into our lessons—whether that means using fun technology, playing educational games, or doing hands-on activities that make you look at the world differently.
To Watch You Grow: There is nothing better than the "aha!" moment—that exact second when something difficult suddenly makes perfect sense to you. I want to be there to cheer you on for those moments.
To Create a Safe, Happy Space: My classroom is a place where it is completely okay to make mistakes, because that is how we learn! I am here to support you, listen to you, and make sure you feel valued every day.
