About Haris
I have been playing the saxophone since the age of 12. My education has been mostly around the classical style, but jazz is where my heart is.
I studied at the Berky Woodwind Music Academy (Epping) from 2014 - 2017 and am a current student at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. I aim to continue my studies to a Doctor of Musical Arts
I have experience performing in orchestras, recitals, and concerts and I'm always performing whenever the chance arises.
Music is one of the greatest gifts I have been given, and it's my goal to share it with the world. My life has changed for the better since deciding to follow a career in music, and I wish to provide the same opportunity for students.

Many saxophonists get to the tertiary level and realize they have not learned to play the saxophone properly, an experience I have had first-hand. I am committed to making sure this does not happen to my students.
Students will have a fantastic opportunity for a multi-stylistic (classical and jazz) education enhancing their musical awareness and understanding, as well as saxophone-specific skill development using the most up-to-date pedagogical practices. Students can also have a theoretical education at all levels.
I have a Licentiate In Music, Australia (LMusA) and 6 years of experience teaching.
Lessons are offered at lengths of 1/2 or 1 hour and are for anyone who wants themselves or their child to have music in their life. The lessons are perfect for those who are considering studying music at school, university, AMEB, etc, or anyone wanting to play as a hobby.
