About Carlos
I teach students from many different majors and academic backgrounds. I have experience teaching General Chemistry II, where I regularly held 1-hour sessions with around 30 students at a time. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts by breaking them down step-by-step in a simple and approachable way.
My academic background includes Pre-Calculus (College Algebra and Trigonometry), Calculus I, II, and III, Linear Algebra I, and General Chemistry I & II. Since many STEM courses are heavily math-based, I am comfortable helping students with both mathematical and scientific problem-solving.
I am passionate about teaching and helping students build confidence in math and science courses.

I usually hold 1-hour sessions with around 30 students at a time in person, helping many students succeed in this challenging course. Since General Chemistry II is heavily math-based, I am comfortable explaining both mathematical and scientific concepts step-by-step.
My math background includes Pre-Calculus (including College Algebra and Trigonometry), Calculus I, II, and III, as well as Linear Algebra I. I enjoy helping students understand difficult concepts in a simple and approachable way while building their confidence in STEM subjects.
I love teaching and helping students across many majors and levels, especially in math and chemistry-related courses.
