About Sunny

My name is Sunny, and I am currently pursuing my studies at the University of Montreal in Canada. I am 28 years old, and I have always had a strong aptitude for the French language. French literature has always been one of my greatest passions, and I enjoy sharing that enthusiasm with others.

My ambition is to become a teacher, and I believe that tutoring through Superprof will not only allow me to help students succeed, but also help me grow into a more articulate, confident, and effective educator. I strive to create a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building their confidence in French.

About the lesson

As a French tutor, my goal is to help students develop both strong language skills and a genuine enjoyment of reading, writing, and communicating. I tailor each lesson to the student's level, learning style, and objectives, combining a structured approach with engaging activities.

I focus on the fundamentals of French, including grammar, verb conjugation, spelling, and vocabulary, through clear explanations and targeted exercises. I also incorporate text analysis, reading comprehension, and both written and spoken expression. Students learn how to organize their ideas effectively for essays, text analyses, and other writing assignments while expanding their vocabulary and improving their confidence.

Each lesson begins with a brief review or dictation exercise to reinforce previous material. We then focus on a specific topic, such as grammar rules, verb tenses, stylistic devices, or writing techniques. This is followed by guided practice and more independent work, such as writing exercises or text analysis. Every session ends with detailed feedback and personalized recommendations for improvement.

I emphasize understanding rather than memorization, helping students build lasting skills and confidence. My teaching provides practical strategies that students can apply in school and on exams. I also encourage an appreciation of French literature by introducing texts that are both engaging and suited to each student's interests.

My lessons are suitable for elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as adults who wish to improve their written and spoken French.
