About Dolores
I am a third year chemistry student and University of Aberdeen, that had been teaching chemistry, physics and mathematics to my younger brother, cousin and their friends. What they said about me was that I should be a teacher because I can explain things properly, not like their school teachers. I feel pretty confident in explaining things in different ways and I am okay with my students needing to take some time to understand and process material.

First I ask to send me materials from school such as pictures of topics that I have to teach, to know what I have to specifically teach and not to teach too much. Then I listen what they already know and build on that by adding information or explaining how it works on real life examples, sometimes simple paraphrasing does the magic. When all terms and formulas are clear I just solve questions from their books with them. I first ask them to read the question carefully, write eveyrthing we know from the question and propose how they would solve it. I do not give them answers how to do it, but try to stear them into the direction of solving it on their own. Usually I was approached with the task to teach entire topic (usually a month or two worth of work from school) in a week and it takes from 3-4 sessions per 2-3 hours. I teach primary school, middle school and highschool material. But I would say it is not the best and easiest way.
