About Amy
I accumulated a lot of tutoring experience working with Oxbridge Applications as a mock interviewer for biochemistry, medicine, biology, natural sciences, and chemistry. I provided constructive feedback for each interviewee outlining the areas in which they did well and those they could improve in. I found it very rewarding to provide guidance and encouragement to pupils preparing for their oxbrdige interviews as I know how nerve wraking the experience can be.
I also tutored with the charity Jacari during university. I tutored 3 students during my time there, of the ages 8, 10, and 11. I mostly worked on basic English skills with my pupils, including written work and conversational/casual language skills. This tutoring work enabled me to learn how to adapt my approach to pupils of different ages and characters.

I am extremely patient as a tutor and have experience in adapting my teaching style from teaching pupils spanning a range of ages and abilities.I think it is important to find out not only what areas of the subject my pupil is struggling with but also what kind of teaching style they respond best to.
