About Joyal
I’m a curious and dedicated individual with a background in Biomedical Science and Medicine, which has helped me develop strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills—traits I bring to my tutoring. I’ve had the privilege of working as a private tutor, where I’ve seen students make steady progress through patience, empathy, and a tailored approach to their needs. Outside of tutoring, I’m passionate about sports and gaming, which inspire my creativity and help me tackle challenges from different perspectives. I’m currently studying medicine at Imperial College London and hold a Biomedical Science degree from the same institution. This strong academic background enables me to teach A-level Biology with a deep understanding of the subject. I also offer GCSE Maths and Chemistry tutoring, having achieved A* grades in both. My approach focuses on conceptual clarity, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and using active problem-solving to reinforce learning. I typically offer lessons of 1–1.5 hours, tailored to the student's pace. I work with students from GCSE to A-level, providing targeted support for exam success.
