About Emma
I am currently studying the International Baccalaureate (IB) in England. Originally, I am from Spain, so I am fluent in both Spanish and English. Studying abroad has helped me become independent, responsible, and adaptable, and it has also given me experience communicating with people from different backgrounds.
I am interested in tutoring because I enjoy helping others learn and gain confidence in their abilities. I look forward to gaining experience as a tutor, supporting students in their learning, and creating a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and improving step by step. At the same time, tutoring is a great opportunity for me to develop valuable skills

My approach to tutoring is to create a supportive and engaging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace and rhythm. I believe every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching methods depending on the student’s age, level, and learning style. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to build their confidence and make learning enjoyable.
In my lessons, I use interactive techniques such as practice exercises, games for younger children, visual explanations, and step-by-step problem solving. For subjects like Maths and Chemistry, I focus on understanding concepts clearly before moving on to more difficult exercises. For English and Spanish, I work on vocabulary, grammar, speaking, reading, and comprehension through conversation and practical activities.
A typical lesson lasts between 45 minutes and 1 hour, depending on the student’s age and concentration level. I can also adapt the lesson length if needed.
Although I am at the beginning of my tutoring experience, I am responsible and patient. I enjoy helping younger students learn and feel more confident in their abilities. I am organised, friendly, and committed to preparing lessons that suit each student individually.
My lessons are mainly for children aged 4–12, from beginner to intermediate level. I can help with school support, homework, exam preparation, language learning, and improving general understanding in a fun and motivating way.
