About Cameron

My name is Cameron. I’m 19. I had a tutor in high school and I never really understood why he done it. To me it seemed like he was doing more and more school work, or it was only for the money. At the end of my school journey I asked him why and he told me it’s because he enjoyed helping, and although I might forget in the future, he won’t, and in his eyes he helped me get into Uni, and helped start my career. This resonated with me, I never thought I would feel that emotion, but since starting my post grad to become a teacher I feel more and more fulfilled by helping people. This is what drives me to tutor.

About the lesson

Using different teaching methods depending on how you learn as a person. Not a copy paste teaching service but tailored to each individual. Slow and methodical process to put foundations down and build on them to create confidence before your exam, helping you excel and reach your goals without having to study all night. I’ve been there I had a tutor, I understand the last thing you want to do after school is more school, that’s why I do not assign homework etc, I know this is extra for everyone already. I found Cameron on Superprof and I am so glad that I did, he has transformed my son’s confidence in Math and Physics. Prior to Cameron’s tuition he was looking at an average of 35% however he has scored 65 and 85 in the two tests he has had in the short time Cameron has been tutoring him. I can highly recommend Cameron for tutoring as he has an extremely good teaching method with my easily distracted 14 year old, engaging with him and being able to balance a lesson as well as bonding on a level that keeps my son feeling relaxed and that he has also gained a friend as well as a tutor. Furthermore at the most recent parents evening and report card the teachers have noticed a big change in Charlie confidence in the subject and his marks. I wouldn’t hesitate in booking Cameron for tutoring, he is fantastic.
