Teaching Method and Techniques:
My teaching method is primarily based on communicative language teaching, which focuses on practical use of language in real-life situations. I believe in creating an interactive and immersive learning environment, where my students are encouraged to use Chinese in authentic contexts. I also use a variety of techniques such as role-play, games, multimedia resources and authentic materials to make the learning experience engaging and fun.
Typical Lesson Plan:
My typical lesson plan consists of three parts: vocabulary and grammar introduction, conversation practice and cultural exploration. First, I introduce new vocabulary and grammar structures through contextual examples and interactive exercises. Then, I facilitate conversation practice through role-play, discussion, and other interactive activities. Finally, I incorporate cultural elements into the lesson, providing insights into Chinese culture, customs, and social norms.
