About Caitlyn
I was a full time English teacher in Sydney for 7 years and relocated to Queensland's Sunshine Coast a year ago, where I am now teaching part time. I am an experienced teacher of gifted and talented classes, mixed ability/learning needs classes, ESL and senior English (ATAR). I privately tutored high school students in Sydney for 4 years, in particular supporting NSW Year 12 students in their preparation and skill development for their English HSC examinations. I have worked with students of varying abilities, from refugee students approaching the ESL course work, to high achieving students who were able to achieve outstanding Band 6 HSC results and ATAR scores above 90.

Each session focuses on a one-two key learning goals and the learning activities are then structured around revision or an introduction of the skill and then the implementation of that skill through guided practice strategies. Students will then reflect upon their learning and will then engage with the skill set and task independently.
