About Gianni
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 7+ years of teaching experience, working with high school students, college learners, and adults. Over the years, I have successfully taught around 300 students, helping them develop both technical skills and confidence in their playing. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, consistency, and understanding each student’s learning style. I believe that every student can learn violin when given the right guidance and support.
In my lessons, I focus on building strong fundamentals such as correct posture, hand positioning, bow control, and tone production. I break down each concept into simple steps so that students can learn without feeling overwhelmed. I also include practice routines, exercises, and songs that keep lessons engaging and enjoyable.
One of my key achievements is helping students perform confidently in recitals and personal performances. I also support students in overcoming stage fear and improving their musical expression. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, confident, and excited to learn violin.

My violin teaching methodology is based on communication, adaptation, and connecting lessons to real-life musical experiences. I carefully observe each student’s learning style and adjust my methods to suit their needs. I teach essential skills including posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone, and phrasing, while encouraging expressive playing and creativity.
Real-life examples such as performing songs, learning pieces with accompaniment, and preparing for small recitals make lessons practical and motivating. I also teach related subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano to build comprehensive musicianship.
My aim is to create a positive, encouraging environment where students develop technical skill, confidence, and a love for music.
