About Hassan

I started teaching as early as 1999 and have taught from basic ESL to academic modules at university. I have worked in different countries and have taught numerous students from all over the world in the past 24 years. My youngest student is 7 years old! Teaching is my passion!

About the lesson

I have been a test designer. That gives my students the edge to learn what tricks SSAT and SAT test designers employ, hence the counterattack! I have a record of many of my students achieving COMPLETE SCORES on tests such as SSAT, IELTS, etc. I teach all the traps and tricks of tests you must know to score the highest. My method of teaching vocabulary is beyond memorization of 200-300 new words; that is the conventional method that is obsolete. I teach the foundation of lexicons, i.e. the roots of words! Teaching Reading and comprehension, I have my students answer my questions first prior to the passages questions. That way their performance transcends 90% accuracy!

When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
I started teaching English in 1999 and have passionately done that until this moment. I just love teaching!
What makes you passionate about your subject?
Teaching runs in my family; everyone, mom and 3 siblings, in my family is a teacher. It is an immensely satisfying job for all of us. The notion of helping others to learn is what makes me want to do this more and more!
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
It is absolutely rewarding to see my students achieve the success they were dreaming of. Seeing every one of them becoming successful is an incredible feeling and the borderless Superprof is the means through which it is more viable!
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
I had a teacher, who made me into a teacher, more than 25 years ago, and he's been my supermodel ever since! He was and still is, a true teacher who loved what he did. I also had a strict teacher who had a great impact on developing my critical thinking skills in teaching. Those two great men have always been my role models!
What are your keys to success?
I conduct a needs assessment and know the students and what they need to learn and then will strategize accordingly and tailor the method for them to reach their goal. I have been very successful in teaching so far, and I owe it all to the passion I have for my job!
