About Eleanor
Chemistry is often less about memorizing lists and more about observing how invisible structures dictate the behavior of our entire physical environment. Completing my BSc Chemistry at Johns Hopkins University equipped me to deconstruct stoichiometry and thermochemistry for learners who need a clear path forward.
I have spent 13 years refining my ability to explain organic chemistry, equation balancing, and periodic trends in a way that feels intuitive rather than mechanical. My students are usually preparing for the rigors of university, so I emphasize the exactness required for top-tier results. Admitting that I struggle to watch students miss easy points on stoichiometry due to minor calculation errors helps us focus on accuracy.
