About Charmian
Teaching music is how I stay connected to my own roots in the Appalachian mountains. I admit that I prefer the sound of an honest mistake over a perfectly sterile performance. My 9 years of experience involve guiding 103 students through the nuances of reading tabs and mastering blues progressions.
I enjoy helping working professionals and teens find a creative outlet through songwriting. When we work on lead guitar, I make sure the theory does not get in the way of the soul. You will find my method emphasizes the joy of playing over the strict pressure of perfection. I offer a free trial session to assess your starting level and discuss your musical goals.
