About Ella
Technical precision in breathing control, diction, articulation, vibrato control, and microphone technique serves as the foundation of my teaching practice. This remains my primary focus. My training at the Royal Northern College of Music provided me with an MMus Voice and 7 years of professional classical performance experience across the UK. Working with students from absolute beginners to advanced learners, I ensure my methods remain accessible and clear.
I possess 8 years of experience coaching pupils through ABRSM and Trinity graded exams from Grade 1 through Diploma level. My pedagogical style remains calm and theatre-fluent to suit various sensory needs. I also focus on vocal health, care, and range extension during these sessions.
Rhythm, phrasing, and performance confidence are integrated into my instruction to ensure well-rounded vocal development. I genuinely enjoy the process of building a personalised song list around each student's range.

Pacing remains steady to ensure students fully absorb complex physiological concepts like breath support before moving to advanced repertoire. Feedback is delivered with directness. My approach considers the specific technical requirements for singers preparing for ABRSM or Trinity graded exams from Grade 1 to Diploma level.
Students receive detailed guidance on vocal health, diction, and articulation while working through their chosen repertoire. My MMus Voice training ensures that even the most difficult phrasing is broken down into manageable segments for learners of all levels. I maintain a calm environment where students feel comfortable exploring their full vocal range.
Microphone technique and performance confidence are addressed through practical exercises during our time together. I find great satisfaction in hearing students finally connect with their own sound.
