About Ashlee

Hi! I’m Ash, a King’s College London (KCL) student with a passion for English and helping young people feel more confident in their learning.

I achieved a Grade 8 in GCSE English and understand that English can sometimes feel challenging — whether it’s knowing how to structure an essay, understanding a difficult text, improving grammar, or simply finding the confidence to express your ideas.

Why do I want to tutor?

I want to help students discover that English doesn’t have to be stressful or boring! My goal is to make lessons engaging, supportive and tailored to each student’s individual needs.

I believe every student learns differently, so I take the time to understand what they find difficult and adapt my teaching accordingly. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and learning at their own pace.

Whether your child needs extra support with a particular area or simply wants to strengthen their English skills, I’d love to help them work towards their goals!

About the lesson

I offer friendly and supportive English tutoring tailored to each student’s individual level, needs and goals.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive and personalised. I will adapt lessons to suit the student, using explanations, guided practice, examples, questions and constructive feedback to help develop their understanding and confidence. I can support students with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, vocabulary and general English skills.

Lessons typically last 1 to 2 hours, depending on the student’s age, level and learning needs. I aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace.

My lessons are suitable for children, beginners and students looking to strengthen their English skills or prepare for GCSE English.
