About Thea
With 8 years of experience as a Guitar tutor, I have helped learners of different age groups achieve their musical goals. I teach school students, college youth, and working professionals who want structured guidance and steady progress. My teaching philosophy is simple — learn step by step and practice with consistency.
I ensure that students understand rhythm patterns, chord formations, scales, and strumming techniques before moving to advanced skills like lead guitar and improvisation. I believe music should be enjoyable but also disciplined. Throughout my career, many of my students have overcome stage fear and confidently performed in competitions and public events. Their achievements are my proudest milestones. I provide personal attention to each student and adjust lessons based on their learning speed. My goal is to make guitar learning simple, effective, and inspiring for everyone.

My teaching methodology for Guitar emphasises balanced growth in technique, creativity, and performance. I believe music education should be structured, supportive, and inspiring. My approach is guided by Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I first focus on essential skills such as chord formation, rhythm timing, finger placement, and clean sound production.
Once students master these basics, I introduce advanced learning such as improvisation, scale mastery, and expressive dynamics. Motivation helps students remain consistent and confident. Communication ensures that every concept is explained clearly in simple terms. Integrity guides me to maintain discipline and correct technique throughout the learning process. Creativity allows students to explore different genres, compose original music, and develop their own playing style. I also include ear training and stage performance preparation to help students become confident and complete Guitar players.
