About Eleanor
Learning languages has always been one of my greatest passions, leading me to complete a PhD in Spanish Language Studies before becoming a teacher. Over the past 12 years, I have worked with learners of different ages while helping them build practical communication skills through encouraging instruction. Every teaching experience has strengthened my commitment to education.
My teaching philosophy focuses on patience, clarity, and meaningful communication. I combine grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and cultural understanding to help students become confident language users. Lessons are always personalised to support individual learning goals.
When I am not teaching, I enjoy exploring Spanish literature, studying world cultures, and creating engaging learning materials. These interests help me bring authentic experiences into every lesson. Watching students communicate comfortably in Spanish is the most rewarding part of my profession.

My Spanish lessons are built around practical communication that students can confidently use outside the classroom. We practise grammar, verb conjugation, vocabulary development, pronunciation, sentence building, listening, reading, writing, and conversation through simple, structured activities. Every lesson creates a relaxed learning environment where students enjoy making progress.
Each learner receives lessons that match their goals and experience level. Beginners establish strong language foundations, while advanced learners improve fluency, comprehension, writing accuracy, and natural conversation skills. Interactive exercises, role plays, visual resources, and regular revision help students remember and apply what they learn.
Language learning becomes more meaningful when students also understand culture. I include traditions, daily expressions, and practical situations that help learners communicate naturally with confidence. My goal is to help every student enjoy using Spanish in real-life situations.
