About Chanel

My name is Chanel. I am a 32 year old female living in Alexandria. I moved to Australia 8 years ago and am now a citizen. I am originally from Montreal, Quebec and have attended both French and English school there. From when I was born, my mother spoke to me in French and my dad in English. I've been perfectly bilingual all my life. My mother taught English to French speakers back in Quebec and that's how I got the idea to teach French to English speakers here. She has guided me with my program and helped me establish different levels that are suitable for all needs. I am also a personal assistant for some partners at an accounting firm. I mostly work from home and have a lot of free time to teach French lessons. I love teaching as I find it very rewarding. French is such a beautiful language and I am very happy that there is a lot of interest! I have always received great feedback from my lessons. I hope to expand my clientele and help as many people as I can. I hope to see you in my class soon :)

About the lesson

My French lessons are 60 minutes long. I can teach face to face in the Sydney area (I live in Alexandria) or online. During the first lesson, I assess the student's level. I also discuss what the student's desired outcome is and what method of learning is preferable. According to that, I develop a personalized program for the student. I can teach across all levels and my skills suit all ages. I have been teaching French for many years and I am originally from Montreal, Quebec. I do not have a French accent when speaking English and I do not have an English accent when speaking French. I cover reading, writing and speaking.
