About Maisie
My name is Maisie, I am a 19 year old university student and I love teaching and working with children. I have had previous experience linked with my sixth form in tutoring GCSE students with languages for exam prep. I am very friendly and personable and am completely fluent in French and English having lived and studied in both countries.

My lessons are fun and engaging with different activities planned for each session so that students have a broad knowledge of French culture and society, as well as preparing them for future exams. Students will learn and/or can improve on their French reading, writing, speaking and listening skills. Whether this be for GCSE exams or simply learning the language. Having grown up in France and being fluent enables me to teach with a detailed understanding of the nuances of the language. I have completed French GCSE at a grade 9 (equivalent to A*), allowing me to understand the structure and quality required for the exams. I aim to ideally teach all ages up to Year 11. (However, I am willing to teach 16yrs + in the language itself, just not for higher exams.) Tutoring can be held in your home (depending on your location), in a public space e.g. a library, or online.
