About Salima
I have taught in a professional setting in afterschool programs for underprivileged children, tutored reading as well as taught English in four private schools. Homeschooling 10 of my own children was quite a challenge; fortunately the outcome produced 7 professionals. While teaching children to read I was able to establish a quite successful reading program called “Readers Make Leaders.”

Throughout my 50 years of teaching I have gained a substantial amount of experience. Not only was my knowledge obtained through hands on learning but also by means of travel.
Visits include the great Sequoia trees,
petrified forest, Grand Canyon and so much more that I am looking forward to sharing!
