About Catherine
The arts have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Through theater, dance, colorguard, choir, but most importantly music! For the past four years, I’ve dedicated myself to studying both the violin and viola, developing not only my technical skills but also a deep passion for expressing emotion through music. Playing these instruments has taught me patience, creativity, and the joy of learning! Now, I want to share that same excitement with others! I want to help new students discover their own love for music and guide them to grow in both confidence and skill.

My methods are personally designed for each person! Not one of us will play the instruments the same way! We all have our quirks :) We start with the basics, often a simple test to see where you land, and what you are comfortable with, then we continue from there with practicing music and learning etudes! Each lesson ends with a summary and if needed for improvement maybe a bit of homework to ensure retention of information! These lessons I offer are specifically for beginner and intermediate players, however advanced students still are allowed to reach out!
