About Megan
I have always felt inclined to teach. I started shadowing my trainer and began teaching horse riding lessons when I was 13. Throughout the years I have become qualified as an instructor and now teach on a regular basis. Teaching a sport has shown me that academic learning does not have to be dull! You can learn in a variety of different ways that are far more effective than reading a concept in a textbook!
On a personal note, I play netball and continue to ride when I can. I have always had an interest in psychology and therefore decided to read Neuroscience at university as I love to delve into the science and the mechanics, quite simply WHY we are the way we are!

I am offering online tutoring for:
GCSE & A level Chemistry
GCSE & A level Biology
GCSE & A level Maths
I have 10 GCSEs including sciences and English, 3 A levels in Maths, Chemistry and History. I have a foundation degree in biosciences and I am currently reading Neuroscience at the University of Manchester.
I am DBS checked and have both first aid and safeguarding qualifications. I am a qualified horse riding instructor and have taught for 6+ years.
I am offering zoom classes at flexible times that suit you.
Classes are £10 per hour.
I ask for the subject and specification you would like me to teach beforehand in order to make preparations to get the most out of the session.
We can cover a wide range of topics in our lessons such as key concepts, exam preparation, revision techniques and even going beyond the syllabus if you are passionate about the subject! I take a fun approach to learning. My lessons are interactive and engaging as I have found this is the best way to apply the concepts covered in the syllabus. I believe that using day to day analogies enforces ideas in a memorable way that is easy to recall. Lessons are flexible to each individual student so we get the most out of the session!
