About Rachel
I am passionate about education, particularly about making education equal for all children, no matter what their background is. I have taught for years in areas of high diversity, teaching children from across the world. I love seeing children make progress in all areas of the curriculum, going above and beyond their potential.

I take an approach to teaching and tutoring that breaks down abstract and tricky concepts into concrete examples to support memory and understanding. Lessons can last from 30 minutes to 1 hour. I have a diploma in education, 5+ years experience as a primary school teacher and a leadership qualification from Teach First. I have experience teaching children from Early Years, with an emphasis on phonics and early maths, up to Year 6 children who are preparing for SATS and secondary school.
