About Ching-Yi
After a masters degree in England I taught English as a foreign language in Taiwan at university for several years. I then passed a certification teaching Chinese as a foreign language and then came to France in the Bordeaux region with my French husband. Since then I teach Chinese. My teaching experience extends from children to adults.

I adapt my courses as needed and at the level of the student or students. I strive to use Chinese as much as possible in my explanations and if there are several students, I encourage them to communicate with each other as much as possible in Chinese so that they can hear and know how to use the vocabulary they are learning. . I like to use technology to support my course to introduce a new theme or word, for example a short video or a mobile application.
