About Akinder
I believe in building good rapport with my students. I enjoy getting to know their families whenever possible to whatever degree possible. I work at building positive relationships with students as well as their families or schools communities. I believe relationships are powerful and key. My students always feel a sense of comfort, confidence, success, safety, and happiness around me.

I am highly engaging and very motivating. I present clear learning objectives and can tutor a variety of subjects. I enjoy working with students and I am highly passionate about education. I have been teaching for nearly 20 years with multiple age groups and various educational settings in both the public and private sector. I have worked with a broad variety of students with various backgrounds and learning challenges. I am a firm believer that everyone can learn and improve. I study neuroscience which informs and guides my instruction. I have great technology skills. I am a very passionate, intellectual, creative, and sensitive instructor.
