About Yasmin
I’m a qualified teacher with three years of classroom experience, working with students across primary and secondary year levels. I have worked as a forest firefighter, and I’ve also held the role of Director of Before and After School Care, giving me experience in both structured learning environments and broader student support.
I live in a country town in Victoria and enjoy the strong sense of community that comes with regional life. When I’m not teaching, I’m usually at home with my two cats or enjoying the quieter pace of country living.

I am a qualified P–12 teacher with a Bachelor of Education, offering personalized lessons in English from Foundation through to Year 12, as well as support for assessment preparation, essay writing, and academic skills. I also assist with resume and cover letter writing, helping students and adults develop clear, professional written communication. My lessons typically run for 30-60 minutes and are tailored to individual goals and learning styles.
I work with primary and secondary students, as well as adult learners, and place a strong emphasis on patience, repetition, and confidence-building. As a current B2 Spanish language learner, I understand the importance of practical conversation, consistent practice, and supportive feedback in the language-learning journey. I offer English conversation practice for learners looking to improve fluency, vocabulary, and spoken confidence in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
