About Rut
I am passionate about my mother tongue, but also about languages and knowledge in general. I studied Literature, a career that connected me with everything related to words, literature and linguistics. This year 2021 I finished a master's degree in teaching Spanish as a foreign language.
I believe that learning a language is an intercultural exchange that goes beyond language exams and certificates. As a self-taught English speaker, I know how enriching it is to be able to delve into the complexities of a language and the culture that it entails.
I am passionate about teaching because I believe it is a powerful way to change the world. I also enjoy traveling, eating, reading and sleeping;)

My teaching method is based on your needs as a student. In principle, I like to explore some characteristics in your way of learning, and then I design a program that adapts to your tastes and curiosities, as well as the expectations you have regarding Spanish.
I consider that the study of literature is essential to delve into a language, in this case, in Spanish. Through this, we learn vocabulary, we have conversation topics, we explore the grammatical system of the language and clear up any doubts that may arise.
I am originally from Venezuela, although I have lived in Ecuador and Argentina, for which I offer you a variety wide range of linguistic uses with which you nurture your experience in front of Spanish.
My classes are directed especially for students who have an intermediate level of Spanish, because from that moment on you have many tools to immerse yourself in the complexities and wonders of Spanish-speaking culture.
