About JANE
I have been studying Chinese for 10 years and have two degrees in the subject. I have been qualified by the HSK language system and am aware of the difficulties for foreigners in starting to learn the language. I have lived in Taiwan for 2 years and am about to start a new course at the Beijing University of Language and Culture.

I use interactive and playful approaches to introduce the complexity of the Chinese language to my students. We will focus on tones and oral Chinese to start with to enable students to feel confident in their speaking. I then introduce grammatical themes and an option to study the written language.
