I teach using student's previous knowledge as the reference, before adding my own. There are some areas where students already know, hence confirm these through me.
Practicals after a topic can follow,so I write up procedure on what is to be done. The observations, conclusions, and explanations are discussed in the next lesson. If apparatus are not available, the practical can be followed on you tube and on overhead projector
Lesson structure involves introduction from previous topics, development where concepts are mentioned and explained or derived from concepts, then conclusion with summary or discussing related questions.
More questions done outside the lesson.
