About Bayardo
Bayardo, a Los Angeles native, is a multifaceted dance artist and educator. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Dance from California State University, Dominguez Hills and a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies with an emphasis in Arts, Media & Entertainment from the University of Arizona, both earned in 2023. Trained in jazz, modern, hip-hop, and ballet, he brings over a decade of professional experience, including ten years as a performer with the entertainment department at Disneyland Resort (2014–2024), where he danced in parades and stage productions. Now based in Hawai‘i, he teaches a variety of styles to students of all ages, sharing his passion for movement and performance. His artistic research explores the fusion of jazz, modern, and hip-hop dance within interdisciplinary frameworks. Recently, he has developed an interest in choreographed projections mixed with live performance, the influence of psychedelic rock on movement, and the study of Nicaraguan dance culture.
