About Tazline
My name is Tazline Chetty, and I’m an English literature tutor based in Verulam. I help students turn confusion into confidence by breaking down poems, novels, and plays into clear, manageable steps. I believe every learner can understand and enjoy literature when it’s explained patiently and connected to real ideas.
What makes me great at helping others is that I listen first, explain in plain language, and never make a student feel small for asking questions. My proudest moments are watching students who once said “I can’t do this” start explaining the text back to me, and hearing from parents that their child’s attitude toward school has changed.

My teaching of English literature is about helping students find their own voice in the text. We break down poems, novels, and plays to understand theme, character, and language, but we also talk about why it matters to you. My goal is that you stop fearing the analysis and start enjoying the ideas with the grades or texts you teach. What grades and set works do you cover.
