For science subjects, its incredibly important students understand the fundamentals, and my goal is to help them build a strong conceptual understanding followed by exam style problem solving. My lessons are targeted for GCSE/IGCSE, A Level and high school students.
While I adapt my teaching style to each student’s learning needs, a typical lesson usually begins with identifying problem areas. This is followed by a clear explanation of the topic using worked examples. We then move on to guided practice, where we solve similar questions together, before the student attempts problems independently. Finally, we review common mistakes and summarize key takeaways to reinforce understanding.
