About Vahid
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Gender, Race, Sexuality, and Social Justice from the University of British Columbia, and a Master's degree in Education and Society from McGill University. During my time at both universities, I had the opportunity to work as a Teaching Assistant, which deepened my passion for education and social impact.

As a Teaching Assistant at UBC and McGill University, I developed and led lessons that promoted student engagement and understanding. My teaching philosophy centers on making subjects relevant and relatable by drawing from students' environments, lived experiences, and interests. By doing so, I aim to create an inclusive learning environment where students feel empowered to explore, question, and apply concepts in meaningful ways.
