About Consuela

I am an experienced, enthusiastic and focused teacher who is committed to safeguarding and promoting the education and well-being of children and young people at all times. I am passionate about giving young children the best possible education in life, and I enjoy working in a busy environment and I relish the challenge of managing a diverse workload. I am able to establish a supportive relationship with not only students but also their parents and fellow teachers all with the aim of promoting and reinforcing a student’s independence and self-esteem. I am fundamentally committed to good practice and innovation and I am a team player. I am able to mentor and coach, to monitor and evaluate the teaching and learning of pupils effectively. Possessing an open-minded, and determined attitude I can motivate and inspire both myself and others to succeed. I have a long track record of being able to maintain good order and discipline among all the pupils, safeguarding their health and safety both when they are authorised to be on the school premises and when they are engaged in authorised school activities elsewhere. I am continually attending voluntary professional development courses to enhance my expertise in teaching children and I am continually interested in attending different workshops and teacher training. Working as a teacher fulfils me as a human being. It develops my love and care for children as a mother develops for her own children. They colour my life and bring me only joy and happiness and I cannot see myself doing something else than sharing my knowledge with children and helping them become responsible grown-ups as the society requires. Consuela was recruited by myself on behalf of the teacher and specialist PPA supply organisation, J and C Academy, having responded to a request in February 2015 for a cover supply teacher for a one off assignment. Consuela impressed my J and C Academy leadership team enough to progress from being part of the cover team and then in Sep 2015 into regular assignments attached to schools across London and Berkshire
