About Aavani
Meet Your Instructor – Aavani Asok Hi! I’m Aavani, a classical dancer from Trivandrum with a lifelong love for the art of dance. I began my dance journey in 1st grade, and over the years, it has become more than just a passion—it’s a way of life. I’ve had the privilege of performing at various competitions and cultural events, including the Kerala State Youth Festival, where I gained valuable experience and confidence as a performer. Dance has taught me discipline, self-expression, and resilience. It's given me a voice that goes beyond words, and now, I want to share that gift with others. I believe that everyone has a rhythm inside them just waiting to be discovered. Whether you’re a complete beginner or someone who’s danced before, my goal is to help you connect with the soul of classical dance—with patience, encouragement, and joy. Teaching is my way of giving back to the art that shaped who I am today. I want my students not only to learn steps and expressions but to truly feel the music and the stories behind every movement. About the Class
Welcome to my classical dance class—a space where tradition meets passion. I’m Aavani Asok, a dedicated classical dancer from Trivandrum with over a decade of experience, having started my dance journey in 1st grade. I’ve had the honor of performing at prestigious events like the Kerala State Youth Festival, and I believe in sharing the beauty of this art form with those who are eager to learn.
My classes are designed for beginners and intermediate-level students, focusing on strong foundations, graceful expressions, rhythm training, and the storytelling essence of Indian classical dance. Each session is carefully structured to not only teach technique but also build confidence, discipline, and a deep appreciation for the art.
