About Mercy
Hello! My name is Mercy, and I am an English tutor with a background in English Education and a TEFL certification. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills and communicate with confidence.
I teach students across different levels, from primary and secondary learners to exam candidates preparing for IGCSE, 11+, IELTS and SAT examinations. I also specialise in diction and pronunciation, helping students speak more clearly and fluently.
My teaching style is supportive, interactive and student-focused. I strive to create a comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, practise confidently and make steady progress.
Outside teaching, I enjoy reading, analysing texts and continuously improving my teaching methods to better support my students.

I also prepare students for exams such as IGCSE, 11+, IELTS and SAT using structured lessons and practical strategies. As a diction and pronunciation tutor, I focus on clear speech, articulation and confident communication.
I hold a degree in English Education and I am TEFL-certified. I teach primary, secondary and adult learners, and a typical lesson lasts between 45 minutes to 1 hour.
