About Akku Fatema
I’m a dedicated and patient educator who enjoys helping learners grow in confidence and reach their full potential. I hold a Qualifi Level 5 Diploma in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) and I’m currently studying towards a Bachelor of Education in the Intermediate Phase. I have experience tutoring young learners from Grade R to Grade 7 and enjoy creating lessons that are fun, interactive and easy to understand. I believe every learner is different, so I adapt my teaching style to suit their individual needs, level and pace. My goal is to make learning enjoyable while helping students develop strong skills and lasting confidence.

My lessons are fun, supportive and learner-centred, with a focus on helping each student understand and enjoy the learning process. I use simple explanations, examples, questions, activities and interactive exercises to keep learners engaged. I teach English, Mathematics, reading and writing, and can also support Afrikaans. My lessons are suitable for beginners and intermediate learners, especially Grades R–7. Each lesson is adapted to the learner’s level, goals and pace, while building confidence, communication skills and strong foundations. Students can expect a friendly, patient and encouraging learning environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and making progress.
