About Chloe
Hi everyone! My name is Chloe. I am 30 years old and I am from London. I recently moved back to the city after spending a year and a half living in South East Asia.
Teaching English as a Second Language has been my career since 2018, and I have been working at top-rated language schools in the UK and abroad ever since. Now, I am proud to say that I have taught students from over 50 countries, ranging from A1 to C2 level and aged 8 to over 60 years old! I love teaching because it enables me to share my love of languages and guide my students to a firm grasp of this international language.
My top priority as a tutor is to get to know my students well in order to tailor lessons to their needs. Additionally, good relationships help to create a relaxed and friendly atmosphere that facilitates learning and grows confidence.

I prefer a highly customized lesson that I will tailor to your needs to help you learn the English you want and need. This can mean working through a textbook or a fully custom-made programme.
My aim is always to help your communication to improve, so I favour a Test-Teach-Test methodology, wherein I test your current knowledge of a language point before teacher you further grammar and vocabulary to enrich your English. I believe that functional language that can be used in your day-to-day life is much more useful then endless grammar rules and obscure vocabulary, so this is reflected in my classes.
I am TESOL-certified with a BA in English Literature. I have been teaching English in-person and online for 6 years in the UK and abroad to students aged 8-60+.
I have taught students of all levels in my career, including IELTS test preparation classes. All ages are welcome in my classes.
